During the UK Higher Education teachers strike, DisOrdinary Architecture was invited to facilitate a reading session with University of Sheffield architecture students from the studios of Dan Jary and Cith Skelcher around the theme of care and repair.

Called Disabled Ecologies, the workshop started at Sheffield Central Library with students quietly exploring some short texts in different formats (including video and podcast as well as books) from disabled scholars and artists - Sunaura Taylor, Eli Clare, Max Liberion and Josh Lepawsky, Cathy Hannabach and Aimi Hamraie, and Petra Kuppers.

Participants then went of a walk and talk in groups to reflect on and discuss and what they had read. Finally, we met for lunch in Moor Market and each group presented their thoughts for discussion.
