During the Oslo Architecture Triennale (OAT) Zoe Partington ran a workshop for staff at the Oslo Architectural Museum on disability and access. This included her ‘characters’ activity, where participants are asked to alter their body state in creative ways for a period (by carrying a heavy load, walking very slowly, holding their hands about their heads, etc) and then map both the frustrations of that changed experience and the new pleasures and detailed observations it can bring.

Disabled film-maker Anna Ulrikke Andersen and Jos Boys also facilitated a one-day workshop on disability and architecture called Places of Comfort/Places of Disturbance at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, together with tutors Paul-Antoine Lucas and Bui Quy Son, founders of the critical spatial practice Exutoire. This was part of their (RE)acting/(EN)acting week-long workshop as part of OAT Academy 2022 and was a day where students carefully explored and critically observed everyday details and encounters.
